Topic: Tolerance

Can tolerance go too far? Could tolerance impose its views on others?

C.S. Lewis writes in his book, Mere Christianity, “The most dangerous thing you can do is to take any one impulse of your own nature and set it up as the thing you ought to follow at all costs.”

What does this mean in regards to tolerance? Is it dangerous to revere tolerance above other virtues, as C.S. Lewis writes?

Discussion tomorrow.
